About

Welcome!  I appreciate you taking some time here.

I’m the Executive Pastor at Capital City Church, a thriving, multicultural church in the heart of Washington, DC., and co-author of the bestselling book: MORE.BETTER.

As I prepare for the release of my next book, THE HONOR CYCLE, most of my posts are on the topic of honor, a practice that has really changed the way I view life. If that interests you, I invite you to follow me on this journey.  Enter your email address and click the follow button on the right side of this page.

This is my personal blog.  As a pastor, I also cover a wide-range of other topics related to making the most of the life God has given us.   I focus on our core identity as spiritual beings and approach many different issues from that perspective.  I especially enjoy writing on leadership, communication, and finances.

My goal is to make my posts as relevant and applicable to your life as possible, so I encourage your comments and feedback.  If you’re interested in applying spiritual principles to make the most of your life, this blog is for you.

I typically post one or two times a week.  To make sure you don’t miss my newest posts, you can follow me by entering your email address and clicking the follow button on the right side of this page.

Here are some of my top posts:

I have a Bachelor’s in Political Science and an Executive MBA from The George Washington University. My “religious” credentials are 13 years of home-grown on-the-job training at Capital City Church 🙂
